Straffen door je orenLaatst was het weer zover. Een crimineel had zijn gevangenisstraf van 20 jaar uitgezeten en kwam vrij. Meteen daarna pleegde hij zes moorden. Dit roept de vraag op of de straffen in ons land wel goed genoeg zijn. Wordt het niet eens tijd voor wat andere straffen?
De huidige straffen in ons land zijn taakstraffen, gevangenisstraffen en TBS. Deze houden criminelen wel van de straat (of er juist op bij taakstraffen, maar dan op een goede manier) maar verbeteren ze meestal niet. Uit onderzoek van de politie blijkt zelfs dat bij vrijgelaten criminelen meer dan 90% gewoon doorgaat met criminele activiteiten. Hoog tijd dat hier iets aan gedaan word
